Latest Retropie "Handheld" Abomination

Started as a straightforward endeavor. Create a portable retropie that seamlessly integrates an authentic NES controller, catering to my wife's fondness for the tactile feel of the original's squishy buttons. The project quickly evolved from its initial simplicity into a complex undertaking. It was only natural that I'd need to incorporate sound and controls to enable her to play Snes, Genesis, and Gba games with ease. She'd undoubtedly want to fold it up neatly once she got her hands on it. Furthermore, the battery life had to be significantly improved. The end result is taking shape as I type this, and I'm oscillating between 50% pride and 50% shame over its existence. This monstrosity has taken on a life of its own...
