I'm working on this thing that will fit snugly onto my 6-volt lantern battery, matching the dimensions of a Panasonic battery I already have. I designed it to press-fit securely onto the existing battery, with pre-drilled holes for inserting the spring terminals and conveniently-sized slots for using paperclips or other small contacts as low-cost alternatives for making connections.
