Lateral roller fitting for ball bearings

Lateral roller fitting for ball bearings

thingiverse

This fitting allows ball bearings to be mounted laterally on boards such as plywood or particle board, functioning as sideways rollers. Users can configure it for various ball bearing sizes using Customizer. By default, it is set up for 16mm boards and 608Z ball bearings, but not all combinations will work as planned. The axle employed was an 8mm aluminum pipe. To use this fitting effectively, a slot must be sawed into the side of the board since the design is intended to have the axle rest against the edge of the board, thereby reducing load on the plastic component.
