Lateral Leg support for Wheelchair

People who struggle to control their legs, such as those with spinal cord injuries, can benefit from this leg support which prevents wounds caused by leg pressure against the wheelchair frame. This aid enhances pressure distribution. Two prototypes exist. The "Leg Support.stl" version attaches securely to the wheelchair frame via pressure. For added security, a second prototype, "Leg Support with Velcro.stl," features velcro for easy attachment in case the first model fails due to poor material bonding. Images demonstrate this functionality. This object was designed by the Mutual de Seguridad C.Ch.C from Chile as part of a collaborative project between their Innovation and Development Direction and the Neuro Rehabilitation Institute.
