Human: This ring was discovered by the Cultural and Physical (CAP) team during some excavations in 2015, dating back to the late 19th century. The ring measures approximately a size 7.5 and has since lost its gemstone, but the setting remains visible. Women were initially allowed to enroll at Michigan State University (then known as State Agricultural College) in 1870. This ring is believed to have been crafted sometime around or after that date, making it one of the earliest artifacts found by CAP directly linking females with the university. This discovery holds particular significance given the restrictions on women's movement across campus. This model was developed by Jack A. Biggs using Agisoft Metashape software.
