Latching Broom Handle Clamp Hanger Holder
thingiverse
This is a broom holder that snaps shut to secure circular handles firmly in place. Specifically designed for 21mm diameter broom handles, it also works with similar diameters. It can be scaled up for larger items, but screw holes and hinge pins will need adjustment. This print-in-place item prints in one piece without supports (check print settings for details). I used 1.7mm diameter nails as the hinge pins. Two counter-sunk holes fit most small screws; pre-drill your wall for best results. Here's a video of this holder in action: https://gfycat.com/ImmenseBeneficialLabradorretriever Print Settings: Printer: Monoprice Maker Select Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: .2mm or smaller layer height Infill: 100% Notes: If you print this at larger than .2mm layer height, your slicer may not leave a gap between the print-in-place hinges. I printed at a .2mm layer height and my slicer skipped exactly one layer for the gap; the hinges printed perfectly with no supports or fuss. However, I had to run a razor blade down the center gap to separate the gripping claws as the first layer fused slightly. Mine was printed in ABS.
