Latch (Rotating)
thingiverse
I was in search of a speedy, uncomplicated, yet efficient latch to secure my enclosure on my Flashforge printer. This makeshift solution turned out to be incredibly useful for anyone seeking a similar locking mechanism. The design utilizes a 2 mm thick acrylic glass, #6 machine screws, and nuts as primary components. To increase versatility, I incorporated a latch catch ideal for situations where the latching walls are flush against each other. For users who prefer custom modifications, I uploaded Solidworks parts to allow for easy adjustments to the existing design. When printed with 40% infill, this latch serves its purpose effectively, though such a level of solidity is unnecessary unless subjected to rigorous use.
