Latch Lock With Mouse-Keys

Latch Lock With Mouse-Keys

I required a straightforward latch that could be easily secured using a mouse-key. Additionally, I needed a mouse-key that would fit perfectly. The end result is now available. This solution is not intended to be predator-proof, but it should at least prevent various outside doors from swinging freely in the wind. There are several additional components I aim to incorporate in the near future. For instance, I recently added a 2-piece receiver socket. To enhance the mouse-keys, I incorporated round protrusions on the ends and flattened the sides (print this item with multiple walls and dense infill). UPDATE - A minor flaw in the Bolt has been corrected. Although it was not critical, it was slightly longer than desired. If you possess the original bolt, simply pay attention to the placement of the LatchSocket (merely move a little farther away from the baseplate). UPDATE - I have added short versions of the receiver and bolt, as well as a countersunk bolt cover and resized mouse keys. Furthermore, another short bolt has been introduced, featuring a hole on the opposite side of the bolt to maintain it in an open position while providing a location to keep the mousekey out of the way.
