Latch Lock

Latch Lock

thingiverse

This is an uncomplicated latch lock that is very easy to print and customize. To create it, simply print 2 bases, 2 tops, and 1 hook. You will also need two screws; their length and diameter depend on your specific parameters, but M4x10 works well with the current settings. Assembly is straightforward: screw the tops onto the two bases, sliding the hook into one of them before attaching it. Each piece prints easily without support. The lock's concept is simple and effective, and it offers a good deal of customization options. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Robo 3D Printer Model: R1 ABS + PLA Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 20%-50% Notes: The print settings will depend on your specific printer and the parameters you used to customize the file. I tested it with ABS and PETG, and it works well in both. However, PLA may be a bit too rigid for this lock's design.
