latch/catch
prusaprinters
this is a model i have originally made myself for holding my bed up against the wall as i have a murphy bed (wall bed) but it can be used universally as a general latch/catch/lock.print at whatever infill you desire depending on your usage its relatively strong but again your infill is going to depend on what sort of weight is going to be pushing against it in my particular use case i used 65% infill because i needed it to be quite strong as its got alot of force and weight from my bed pushing against it.again resolution wise i printed two of them one at 0.30 and one at 0.25 this is more of a preference really depending on your use case or how clean you want it to look overall obviously lower resolution may help slightly with strength but isnt overly neccesary.3walls just to make sure its nice and strong and accurate, i use 4 bottom and top layers but thats just more for a clean level layer before it starts printing all the rest of it and also for a nice clean finish on the top.assembly wise you connect the 3 pieces together simply with a long nut and bolt, the cylinder part goes inside the block and then the handle looking part or as i call it latch part goes on the top of the block and then bolt through the top to the bottom and a nut on the end nice and tight for that secure movement that hold your latch in place where u want it to be angled. print time will vary depending on the settings your using and your printer/slicer software.
