Latch cable end designed for Ford Excursion rear barn door latch, a component notoriously prone to OEM plastic degradation and breakage. Key Information: Assembly Directions: The custom-designed latch end part is manufactured using high-quality ABS plastic with a 100% fill density. However, please note that my 3D printer tends to produce parts slightly smaller in the X-Y axis dimensions, necessitating some adjustments for smooth assembly. As such, one of the assembled parts features an enlarged slot tailored specifically for the plastic upper clip. Following this configuration, insert the filler piece into place once the latch end is secured on the cable. Subsequently, employ a drop of acetone to create a secure adhesive bond between these components, thus enhancing overall durability and longevity.
