Last centimeters with tomato's labels
prusaprinters
Strange stream of unexpected events gave me an opportunity to produce tiny tomato labels, as I received 20 plants with 12 different species, garden shop was closed and black cat was running in front of my car (I avoided the disaster, by chance). That way in few months I would name the best tomatoes I have to spot on the market next year.So I quickly sketched the label: it is 160 x 20 x 0.2 mm and, while printed in ‘pack’ of 8, it takes only 25.25 cm of PETG filament. I used ‘Terracotta Light’ and ‘Jungle Green’: writing with pencil on rough side is not a problem.Currently I have 0.6 mm nozzle mounted, so it takes only 4 minutes for label to print. There is only one layer to print and if your bed is not perfectly leveled, that layer can be not solid enough. In case of failure, mind about calibration.I'm happy my ‘last meter’ labels are not white, and garden is not polluted with white spots from outer world.
