Lasko Fan Oscillation Connector
thingiverse
My trusty Lasko pedestal fan had finally given up the ghost recently and after scouring every nook and cranny for a replacement part, I reluctantly accepted that it was time to call in the big guns - namely myself! I decided to take matters into my own hands and get creative. After carefully pulling off the old part, I set out to redesign it from scratch. The result? A brand new, custom-made replacement that fits my trusty 20" Lasko Pedestal Fan like a glove. Check out the before-and-after pics of when I finally got it installed. Print Settings: Printer: Prusa i3 Rafts: No Way! Supports: Not My Problem! Resolution: .2mm Precision Infill: Full Strength Ahead at 100%! Notes: Since my fan spends most of its days outside, I figured why not go all out and print it with maximum infill for added strength? If you're looking to get those circles looking a little more rounded on the ends, give supports a try. It worked beautifully for me. And hey, if you want to print it sideways, just rotate it 90 degrees on either axis - easy peasy!
