Lasko 6-inch Fan Wall Mount
thingiverse
I needed a way to mount a small fan on the wall, securely, near a crib. I found some other models that work with this fan but the mount to poles. This is a new design that instead allows the fan to be wall mounted, leverages the original hardware from the fan for tightening it up, and also has a swivel capability. For additional parts, you'll need an M3 heat-set insert and bolt, an M5 nut and short bolt and preferably some thread lock to keep the bolt secure. After printing, insert the heat-set insert into the bracket piece, press a nut into the spin plate and then glue the bracket to the spin plate, being careful to not get glue on the bolt. You can then add some thread lock to the M5 bolt, screw it in and make sure you can slightly turn it. Feed in the M3 bolt and make sure that when tightened in, it presses against the wall plate to lock the spin. Once done, you can screw it to the wall. To attach the fan, undo the thumb screw from the fan base, push out the nut, press the nut into the wall mount, slide the fan in, pass in the thumb screw and tighten it down.
