This mount, inspired by the LAZOR design, is compatible with the same laser pointer and works with Unicorn firmware and hookup. It features a micro servo mount and a flag to block the laser beam. The base measures 14+ cm wide, requiring a MENDEL printer for printing. Testing revealed that the mounting holes are too close for Makerbot's z-stage; use tape as a temporary fix until updated designs are available. To assemble, print all parts and clean bolt holes and slots using needle files. Attach the tower to the base with two M3 bolts. Slide the arm down the top of the laser, adjusting it for the desired burn spot. Secure the arm to the tower and laser with M3 bolts. Install the servo, attach the flag to the servo arm, and mount the assembly on a Makerbot z-stage. Use compatible software to create your design, set the feedrate, export using specified pen angles, align the pilot beam, and exclaim "Fire the laser!" before pressing build.
