I replaced some parts for the Lasersaur project. v14.03 http://www.lasersaur.com/ Laser tube 100W RESI, 80mm diam. These parts are made to replace aluminum assemblies that weren't precise enough for me. As soon as I tightened the screws, they always moved a little bit and I had trouble calibrating the optics. I started from scratch on Fusion360 after changing the design of xnaron's version because it was too different to modify. The files can be downloaded at http://a360.co/1PEIbkJ It could be cleaned up but works well enough for now ^^^ Next, I'll edit the Y carts and try to fix most of the sources of misalignment. Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: 3DRAG Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 25% Post-Printing I printed 2 hangers and a holder for mirror 1. I cleaned the holes with a drill bit... you'll see if it was necessary. Then I screwed in place the parts and put just one layer of rubber tape between the tube and the printed part. On the picture, we can see the old rubber tape; it was stuck too well and didn't come off. I tightened everything with zip ties. It worked pretty well - the laser beam is now perfectly aligned with the frame.
