The lasers are very precise, and you can shoot on long distances in the night. The ability that the lasers bounce of walls is also a cool feature, especially in indoor fights. A Familly Member bought some deluxe blasters for the family to have a laser tag blast. We play it very often from young to old. That’s very cool. But for me the laser tag system has two problems: the lasergun do not have a stock, and the aim system is not useable. So, I decided to improve those two shortcomings with a conversion kit. This kit transforms the laser x deluxe blaster to a more “adult” laser blaster. aaaand… I added some more fancy stuff like a Rail Interface System and a magazine. ** # HARDWARE # ** You do not need to much hardware material for this build. Just a big m8 screw and some metal M4, plywood M5’s to mount the conversion kit to the body of the laser X gun and a spring for the magcatch. See the pictures below for a detailed list. Furthermore, you need to cut away some pieces from the laser X gun to make space for the conversion kit. It is especially important that you do not use to long plywood screws to mount the conversion kit. Otherwise, you will damage the internals. ** # IMPROVEMENTS # ** Version ALC-AR3A: ** - Improved the charching handle - Improved Magwell 2 ** Version ALC-AR3B: ** - Movable Forward Assistent Know Added # PRINTER SETTINGS # ** There are no over all printer settings for all parts. Here are some tipps: ** >1. Every Part should be printed with very thick walls. At least 1.2mm >2. Specially the Rails should be 100% filled, they get a lot of stress from the attachements. In the RIS the act as an stabilizer. >3. I made good results with PLA and with PET. >4. Only Parts that need to be very precise is the charging handle, the magwell and of course the magcatch.
