I wanted to install Axial Trepador mounted on 2.2 beadlock rim to my lasernut. The orginal 12mm hex being very thin and loose over the shaft it did not give a lot of room for the load transfer to my rim adaptor. I made a selection of wider 12mm hex that will fit very tightly over the shaft and pin. The cylindrical shape of the pin was also integrated in the design for better load transfer. I used a Spectrum smart abs high impact for these parts. The plastic hex are easier to change than a damage rim glued to a tire! For those who would like to use the original rim and wheel that came with the unit use the 4 mm thick hex. The rim adaptor are made to fit the 6 bolts pattern for Axial 2.2 method rim. They must be used with the 6 mm thick hex. The hole has been reduce to fit the size of the threaded portion of the shaft. Its possible that you will need to clean it with a drill bit after printing. This was done to increase the surface area underneath the locking nut.The tread used for the rim adaptors are for 2.5mm bolts For the beach!PROLINE SAND PADDLES TIRES WITH RIMS:With the 6 mm thick hex the proline tire 2.70 x 5.25 # 10193 can be mounted on the Lasernut. The 12 mm hex have been printed at 100% with spectrum abs and the rim adaptor at 101% with duramic petg using Cura 5.6. If the rim are too tight over th adaptor they will have a tendency to tear them off the shaft when you remove the tires. This could easely lead to lost pin! Wich was my initial problem with the loose hex.If the hex is damage and needs to be removed from the rim adaptor you could use a M6 bolt has an extractor to pull it out.The lower plate with shield were also printed out of spectrum smart abs with only a brim to hold them in place at resolution of .12. The carbon fiber surface was prep with washable glue. You will need a chanfer tool to clean the bottom of the shield. This will help to make it slid over the shock link by breaking the inner edge.The rim adaptor with HD have a larger diameter of 24mm instead of 22 mm.Losi lasernut 12 mm hex x6.0mm_03.stl was reduced to 11.90mm
