Lasercut Y-axis tensioner for the Printerbot Jr.
thingiverse
I appreciated Jim's solution (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:40101), but decided to create a similar design using laser cutting to maintain consistency on the Printrbot Jr. Here are the files for my project. I utilized the Baltimore Hackerspace's lasercutter and switched all wooden panels, except the extruder, to acrylic for its aesthetically pleasing look. To implement this, I imported the DXF file into redlaser software and laser-cut it after several passes. The acrylic used was purchased from Home Depot, and required slight sanding of one shaft to fit into new holes.
With this file you will be able to print Lasercut Y-axis tensioner for the Printerbot Jr. with your 3D printer.
