To replace worn-out leatherette on a Hasselblad V-System Waistlevel-Viewfinder, use a template created from precise measurements using a ruler and Inkscape. Lasercut leather parts and glue them onto the viewfinder with All-Purpose-glue (UHU). Improvements can be suggested for specific camera needs; cut thin leather on MDF to prevent curling, shrinking, or movement during cutting. Be cautious of the smell when lasercutting leather – open windows while working. This template is an extension of a body-leather project and requires test-printing on paper before use. Please report any issues for further enhancement.
