My Daughter's Sleightful Project: A One-of-a-Kind Sleigh Handcrafted with Love. I recently stumbled upon a humble sleigh at Michaels that my little one eyed with enthusiasm, asking if she could have it right on the spot. I took one glance at its bland design and uninspiring $9.99 price tag and knew immediately I had to outdo it. "Absolutely not," I told her. "Let's make something truly special." The design inspiration behind this DIY masterpiece came from a stunning vintage sleigh image I discovered on Google Images - unfortunately, it has slipped through my fingers and remains elusive to this day. With the plan in mind, I got down to business using a trusty eighth-inch plywood as the material of choice.
