I crafted an mp3 player from the remnants of a strobe's LED bulb. However, the board ultimately met its demise and I disassembled the player and speaker. A beautiful case design was created in Corel, subsequently cut into 3mm MDF. In this configuration, the speaker area is carefully isolated from the player board. To enhance airflow, two ducts were drilled for ventilation to the loudspeaker's air outlet, resulting in a superior performance. I'm impressed with how well it plays, especially at high volumes. If you don't have access to a discarded LED bulb with a sound system or prefer a more generic option, consider using a Chinese DIY mp3 player instead.
