This exercise is a great opportunity to build something new or remix it in your own unique way. The Version 1.2 is now ready for laser cutting. I designed this Prusa i3 in SolidWorks, and it's a solid representation of the machine. For now, there are no instructions available, but that will change soon. Be prepared for some tweaking as we work out the kinks. I'll do my best to keep everything updated, so if you've already made corrections, please let me know. This design is specifically tailored for the E3D v6 hotend and should produce prints with a height of around 140 mm. The belt "fixation" system is designed to accommodate GT2 belts as well as those salvaged from common prints. If you need other file formats, just let me know in the comments. The zip file includes all the SolidWorks files for your convenience. You can find the frame design on Thingiverse: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:39889 This text was last updated on 23/10/2018.
