Lasercut Mendel90

Lasercut Mendel90

thingiverse

This Mendel90 variant features a lasercut melamine-coated MDF frame, similar to the Graber i3 frame, and allows for an acrylic enclosure. Key changes involve a redesigned frame, laser-cut Z axis components, modified plastic parts (few in number), simplified wiring with detachable motor plugs and push-fit endstops for wiring looms, and the use of RAMPS electronics combined with Panelolu2 controller. Detailed assembly instructions, calibration guides, and up-to-date source files are available on the blog and GitHub. The printer is designed to accommodate multiple Bowden extruders as an alternative to a single direct drive extruder, with updates forthcoming.
