I am designing a laser-cut iPad 2 stand. The stand is cut from 3.6 mm plywood, which is equivalent to 1/8 inch thick material. The purpose of this stand is to hold an iPad at my workplace and register visitors. It features a hinge that allows the tablet to be placed in various angles and locked into place with a fork-like mechanism. If needed, you can remove the bolts from the hinge and turn it by 90 degrees to switch to landscape mode. However, be cautious not to tip the iPad when doing so, or secure it properly. Additional components required for this project include: * Six M2.5 x 10 mm standoffs * Six M2.5 bolts * Six M2.5 nuts * Two M4 bolts (I added spacers to the design, allowing you to use any length less than 3 cm) Make sure all glue is dry and well-cured before placing an iPad in the case. To avoid the charging cable from sticking out of the bottom, I used an angled iPad charging cable.
