lasercut house #2 - 28 mm wargaming terrain
thingiverse
A two-story, terrace style house for 28 mm wargaming enthusiasts is now available. Measuring 150 x 100 x 150 mm in size, this house features upper floors and a roof that are separate pieces, designed to be removed individually for easy transportation or storage. Small tabs and notches ensure precise alignment of the floors, guaranteeing a seamless assembly process. Crafted from high-quality MDF for structural parts and thin cardboard for the roof tiles, this house is built to last. The roof tiles are carefully cut into strips and aligned with horizontal lines on the roof sides, creating a visually appealing effect. Around the chimney, minor adjustments may be necessary to match the tiles perfectly, but this process is easily accomplished. Each piece is designed with tabs and notches for effortless alignment, making it clear which components fit together seamlessly. However, one detail worth noting is the lower window sill, which stands 1 mm wider than its top counterpart and protrudes slightly from the outside wall. The difference between the upper and lower parts is subtle, but easily overlooked during assembly. To facilitate the building process, a comprehensive 3D file has been included, containing crucial information about the 79 individual pieces and their precise placement within the house.
