Lasercut DJ gear Stand (Roland Aira)
thingiverse
By using Autodesk Fusion 360 and the add-in Slicerforfusion360, I was able to design a stand that perfectly fit my gear (tr8, mx1, tb-3, system1 and vt-3). As you see on the picture, I removed the overhanging parts and painted everything black after buying a new vt-3 to replace my sp555. I positioned my gear in Fusion360 and extruded a solid part around it. By changing the length of the extrusion, I could make it shorter or longer depending on my own gear's specifications. By using Slicerforfusion, I was able to adjust my material thickness and amount of layers, etc. After that, slicer automatically generated the plans. These plans can be optimized by arranging them myself in Adobe Illustrator (I managed to put everything on 2 sheets of 1220x610x3.6mm plywood). I used a normal table saw to make the 2 cover plates and added a few support beams on the inside. Fusion360 file, Slicerforfusion file, and the STL are all available for review. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns!
