This is a remix of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1274732, which itself is a remix of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:38016. The evolution of this tree design has transformed from plastic to wood with metal components, then to a purely wooden structure. Designed for 3mm plywood (190 x 290mm in size), the exact material thickness is not crucial (max 3.3mm). To accommodate 4mm plywood, simply scale up the design by 125% (resulting in a size of 238 x 363mm). A laser cutter kerf of 0.1 to 0.2mm has already been accounted for in the drawing. The star at the top serves as a stabilizing wedge that holds the tree together, complemented by another wedge positioned at the base of the tree. Multiple wedge sizes are provided; select the one that best fits your needs or opt for a small amount of glue to secure it. Updates: 20191019: The stem was thickened by 1mm and a version tailored for 3.4mm plywood was added. 20191021: Connector gaps were adjusted to 0.35mm specifically for the 3.2mm design variant. 20191030: A version featuring vertical grain was introduced. 20191211: The slot size for the star was modified from 2.5mm to 2.3mm, and wedges for 4mm and 4.2mm plywood were added.
