Here's a quick design I came up with to store large quantities of sewing thread. It's engineered for 3mm lasercut plywood and can accommodate a variety of bobbin sizes. Also, this is sized to fit perfectly into "Quadrant" 5lt storage tubs (from the Reject shop in Australia), so you can stack a whole bunch while still keeping the dust off.
