Lasercut-Art inspired by Escher and the Autumn

thingiverse

This laser-cut piece is inspired by M.C. Escher's work, focusing on mathematical patterns and autumn motifs. The design features a repeated shape (a leaf) via translations and rotations, adhering to its 'grundtype', specifically C3C3C3C3. If using this design, please credit the original designer. To create it, three different colored wallpapers were glued onto 3mm MDF, with laser-cut files (black engraving, red cutting). A border from the plates was added to another plate of the same size and thickness. The leaf shapes were assembled using wood glue on the plate.
