As part of the interactive installation Spinoxa, accessible at http://www.tadaex.com/2016/artists/ashkan-gh/, a mount is used for 3V lasers that are mounted on a stepper motor secured to a wooden frame. I employed Cura for slicing and it worked out well, but I believe the design may experience difficulties with Simplify if not repaired with Netfabb first, as it was initially created in C4D.
