I've been experimenting with a Laser Rifle in one of my Unity projects, specifically designed to demonstrate key concepts for creating a First Person Shooter experience. The rifle is rigged up with various components, including a trigger system and animations for added realism. To bring the rifle to life, I implemented a custom script that handles its functionality, allowing players to aim and fire it accurately.
