This is the braket for a laser powder sensor. In conjunction with the right die and electronic (at R&D state atm) it will replace your Mark7 powder sensor. The advantage of a laser powder sens is the touchless sensing and you can set min and max levels. For the whole project, you need:1x Keyence LR-X100C Sensor (you find on e-bay)4x Ruthex M4 insert2x Ruthex M3 inserts2x M3x18mm cap head screw2x M3x10mm cap head screw2x M3 washer2x M4x12mm grub screw1x small 24VDC psu --> once the electronic part is done there will be more details1x 24Vdc solid state relay --> once the electronic part is done there will be more details1x the right die, 9mm and 223 are done and 308 will follow1x 7/8-14 UNF die nut2x vise block (in the files)The 2 M4 inserts act like a guide for the M3x18 screws. The laser should look into the center of the case.If the laser is not in center, loosen the mounting screws of the laser and wiggle it to the left or right --> if thats not the axis you need, keep the screws loose and gently insert a M4 grub screw into the 3th hole until it touches the sensor. Tighten the 2 screws and check the position of the laser, if still not good, adjust with the grub screw. Be carefull to not damage the sensor.Revisions:27.12.2023 - Had to modify the braket, the sensor was not pointing perfectly centered downwards --> added 1,5mm.Did not like the sensor head cable, dangling around so I added a cable guide. The dies had a bit a too loose sit, so I increased the diameter of the flange to the braket by 0,1mm dia.31.12.23 - Modified the 2 dies a bit, made the inside case support more narrow to ensure a snug sit while checking the powder level. Also added a 22mm flange surface for a 22mm spanner or the vise block. This makes it much easier to cut the thead with the die nut.Added the mentioned vise blockWord of advice, the inside thread in the M7 heads are tight like a tiger, buy a cheap 7/8 - 14 UNF die nut and retap the printed die.07.01.24 - Modified the Laser braket, added another M4 heat insert --> this is to adjust the sensor if the laser beam is not pointing at the middle.
