Laser Pipe Filament Runout Sensor Provided as is: This uses a small Laser to pass light through a transparent Bowden Tube Pipe to detect if the Filament has Runout or snapped. No need to have any break in the Bowden Tube, maybe good for flexible filaments. I doubt if transparent filament will work with this. There is a part for a small microswitch to be fitted to switch Laser off if the lid is opened for safety. New Optical Filament RunOut Pass Through Tube Sensor works, manual testing https://youtu.be/NdZg186fbuE Create an Optical Filament RunOut that will not require a break in a Bowden Tube*, ideal for flexible filaments and easier to feed filament into, etc.. *For use with a clear Bowden Tube. Clear Bowden Tube see your filament https://youtu.be/ldfTFoZWonM Needs some more work to try to make it easier to set up, has to be adjusted just right. Could be made smaller, I have plugs inside that could be wired in directly saving space.
