Laser Mount

Laser Mount

thingiverse

This part was inspired by the Raspberry Pi Cat Laser Toy 2.0 designed by Tony D. He chose to attach his laser mount securely to a pan/tilt mechanism with a strong adhesive. This particular mount offers a quick and easy snap-in holder for both the laser diode and the pan/tilt device. Tony D. skillfully drilled a precise hole under the laser diode, then tapped it to accommodate a 3 mm screw. He inserted a durable nylon screw that was long enough to have its head flush with the bottom of the mount just as the threaded end began to make contact with the laser diode.
