Laser mount version 2

Laser mount version 2

thingiverse

Version 1 of the laser mount worked well, but rotating it required the cap, which was excessive. The solution involved a simple modification: printing a hole through the holder, large enough for the bolt head or screw, ensuring easy attachment to various surfaces. This version accommodates a 12mm diameter laser, with a slightly expanded hole for better fit. M3 nuts and bolts from the makerbot set are used. A 3D printer has significantly improved life by enabling custom mounts like this one; photos of the old laser mount and primitive 3D scanner build with the new mount are available.
