I designed this part for my 3D printer. You don't have to remove the hotend. Instead, you can easily attach it to the hotend's fan with screws. I recommend printing it with at least a 50% support infill setting. I'm using a 500 mW laser and it works perfectly with this mount. This mount might also fit other printers and laser modules.
