I've successfully mounted a Robosavvy MM2x kit on my J Tech Photonics, Inc laser for my REP2x, enabling me to print PLA and ABS in dual-strusion with superior power. This upgrade is incredibly efficient, as it allows me to remove an extruder in just two seconds. To facilitate this process, I designed a custom mount that holds both the extruder and laser in place on either side of my 3D printer. However, please note that this is still a work in progress, as I am currently waiting for the MM2x Robosavvy extruder kit to arrive, which will allow me to finalize the design. In the meantime, you can upgrade your system by visiting the Thingiverse website at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:603938 and following the link to access the updated instructions. To begin with, I recommend disassembling your motor and extruder as instructed below: - Remove the motor and extruder from their current position on your 3D printer. - Install the MM2x Robosavvy extruder in place of the original motor.
