Summary Project assumptions Upgrade old drill press by adding laser marker. Precise and cheap. the mount board is designed for polish drill press construction WS-15 and WS-16 (these models have screwed covers on the front) After leveling the mount board for better stiffness needed to fill the gap between this board and the machine - silicone or better hot glue (may melt PLA) The laser holder has 4 nuts and bolts (each laser) for fine adjustment and assembly. The uploaded prototype is mounted on the machine and has been in use since January 2022. Needed to make marker: LED laser 5mW 3-6V (line) - 2pcs M2.5 nut - 8pcs M2.5x10 internal hex bolt - 12pcs 2xAA battery holder rocker switch velcro stripe This is my first uploaded project. https://youtu.be/AqQ9h9XaU38
