Create a simple wooden kazoo using laser-cut wood pieces. Watch this video for guidance: http://www.flickr.com/photos/ranjit/8472934766/in/set-72157632668657716/. To make it, cut 1/4" balsa for the sides and 3mm plywood for the top, bottom, and rings. Dimensions aren't crucial. Glue the sides to the bottom, attach the top to the sides, and place a small ring over the top hole. Use a piece of crinkly plastic (like teabag wrapper) held by a large ring over the small one. Sing or hum into the fat end, not the skinny one. If it doesn't buzz, adjust the plastic tightness or type.
