Following a thorough search, I discovered a comprehensive solution for a Laser Diode suitable for engraving and cutting thin materials. The device produces a fine point with 745 mW output power, functioning well at slow feed rates. Priced at €200 including safety glasses, it's an excellent entry-level choice for laser technology. To complement the setup, I designed my own holder and cooling system in Solid Edge for 3D printing. The electronics are cooled from above, while the Laser Diode is cooled internally with a supplementary aluminum cooling block within the housing.
