This is a simulation based product design assignment with the purpose of optimising the design of the heat exchanger and housing for a laser. The design is split into components to later apply boundary conditions to the specific medium. ie water for the water cooling section... laser for the heat source BC and air for the air passages. A quarter section was drawn to reduce simulation time by assuming symmetry in the solution across each quarter. Meshing was done using hypermesh.
