Laser holder for the Silhouette Portrait cutter (might work in the Cameo as well)

This is my initial prototype of a custom holder for the Silhouette Portrait that enables using a cutting/burning laser diode module in place of the traditional knife cutter. The side tab is designed to accommodate a switch which gets triggered when the Silhouette lowers its pen (indicating a cut move.) This switch controls the laser power source, turning it on during cuts and off when the pen is raised. My plan is to significantly upgrade this design, and I'd appreciate any assistance you can offer. Check out the instructions tab for crucial information that will help in this process.
