In Blender (Cycles) v2.79b, a laser gun mesh has been created featuring mainly procedural textures, allowing for easy control over scratches and color. Rigged to an empty, this laser gun also boasts a removable battery for reloading animations. The side fans are separately rigged to an empty for simpler animations. The visible scratches and smudges on the gun indicate its tough use; it remains functional for taking down demons or massive tanks, even eliminating the need for grilling hunted meat.
