LASER for CR10
thingiverse
I wanted to transform my stock CR-10 into a laser engraver machine but using a more powerful laser than what's available from Creality. So, I purchased a 5.5W laser with TTL input from AliExpress. The stock CR10 has an additional port for a fan, which is a duplicate of the first one. The fan output is PWM at 12V, while my laser's TTL input runs on 5V; you can also find lasers with 12V TTL, but I discovered them after buying mine. You can easily convert the 0-12V to 0-5V using a simple trimmer and a tester. For engraving software, I'm currently using LightBurn, which is an excellent choice. As always, enjoy your project, and feel free to reach out if you need any assistance.
