LASER FIXTURE ASSEMBLY, AMADA CO2 ROTARY TRUNION
grabcad
This Laser Fixture unit is designed to simplify tubing cutting. After purchasing a new Amada laser, I traveled to Chicago multiple times in search of a rotary unit, but it wasn't meant to be as ownership declined the purchase. The first major project we received required a large tubing-based unit, necessitating the use of a tube cutter. This fixture is perfect for anyone needing an alternative method to eliminate machining. It features a drop and lock system based on a tube cutter located at the center of the tube. The design also accommodates a 48" X 48" fixture to find the center point, defined as the center locator of the fixture in the file "_ASSY, FIXTURE WITH TRUNION REV 01.SLDDRW". I hope this helps other users develop workarounds for laser-style machining. Stay tuned for a video demonstration (subject to company ND agreements).
