This is a DIY fan mount offered on our Laser Upgrade Kits. Print out and attach your own fan to avoid purchasing an assembled unit from us. Maintaining your laser's coolness is essential, as it also shields the lens from smoke and debris buildup. This mounting design is featured on a PrintRBot setup. For detailed information, please visit: http://www.jtechphotonics.com Use any 40mm fan, readily available at Digikey.com or Amazon.com, or at your local electronics/hardware store. Mount the fan with air directed towards the laser. Any bolt and nut combination works; we recommend using inexpensive 6/32 5/8" screws. Attach two additional 6/32 screws and nuts to secure the laser mount.
