Laser Engraving Material Test Card

This is a useful test template to run when laser engraving on a new material type. You can select the ideal speed and power settings to get the best visual results. I know LightBurn has a tool to generate these for you, but I like having the contrast of the power % number inside the test dot to see how it shows up. If engraving on a material that may flare up (wood for example), you might want to remove some of the lower left (high power, low speed) test dots. Layer C11 does an outline cut of the card, so if engraving on something that you cannot cut, turn off this layer.
