Laser Engraver Mount

Laser Engraver Mount

I needed a direct drive extruder and wanted to attach a laser module to the rear of the motor without interfering with the Titan Extruder in front. To do this, I created a mount that can be screwed onto the motor by removing two opposing screws, then running them through the mount into the motor. Next, I mounted the laser module into the mount and secured it with a 3.5mm screw turned just finger tight. To ensure everything fits perfectly, I recommend drilling all holes to your desired screw size, as some printers may not be exact with their screw holes. Recommended material is PETG or ABS. However, PLA might work too, but be aware that if the laser module housing heats up during extended engraving, it could soften.
