Laser / Engraver Marker Mount

Laser / Engraver Marker Mount

thingiverse

The PrintRbot / Wade laser mount can be easily attached to the engraver mount and used with a marker instead of a laser. It fits in the same place as the engraving end on the head. The Z-endstop modification works well with this setup, which is available at thingiverse.com/thing:30590. To print successfully without support, use the 'etch resist pen' by Sharpie, a standard marker designed for circuit tracing that's about .4 wide on paper. Removing the mount is not necessary to insert or remove the marker, making it convenient to quickly cap it as well. The idea and model for this marker mount were inspired by beardicus (thingiverse.com/thing:15647), while PrintRbot offers engraver and Z-endstop extender options at thingiverse.com/thing:30520 and thingiverse.com/thing:30064 respectively.
